Glass & Print

Materials

You don’t have to limit yourself. Full range of capabilities are at your disposal: full colour digital print directly on the glass, toughening, LED backlight, plexi, lacobel, aluminium, mdf, solid sheets and other materials – as big as 2×3 meters.

Applications

The choice here is not less: splashbacks, kitchen screens and furniture, wardrobe doors, tiles, worktop, tables, shelfs, shower cabin, etc…

Print

Extraordinary quality is guaranteed thanks to constantly high standards. Modern, large format printing machines provide photographic quality print with perfect colour depth. And the most important – colours do not fade or wipe out – print directly on glass is weather and time resistant.

Transport & montage

Execution time

It is most important to drive the whole process of implementation in proper order. That is why we guarantee rapid implementation without delays. We have sufficient resources to take your order and do it on time.

Transportation

Safety is most important here. Transportation of glass tile 3 meters wide and 2 meters tall is extremely gentle and attention requiring procedure – we can take care of it.

Installation

This unique impression, when application finds its place in your home or office… We know it well – from the beginning till the end. We offer assembly countrywide, but most of our work can be seen in Dublin area, Meath, Louth, Kildare, Wicklow, Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon.

There are 4 main ways of glass printing:

Transparent print

We print all colours except white. A place where should be the white colour stays clear/transparent and the print is seen from both sides of the glass. Used for example in glass doors.

Colour print + white

A glass with additional white varnish, not transparent, used for example in wardrobe doors;

Colour print + white + protection film

It is the most often used way of printing. The print is not transparent, and it has an additional protection film at the back, that protects the glass from breaking/crashing.

Colour print + white + colour print

Print is seen from both sides of the glass, but not transparent.

Colours are endless!

Lacobel float glass is a coloured back painted glass. The Lacobel glass is an awesome addition to current house decoration, as it suits every house’s style, with number of colours available to choose from. With the palette of 200+ RAL colours, the real possibilites are endless!

Multiple types of glass to print on

Thickness

We make the prints on different glass thicknesses, from 4mm to 10mm. A standard thickness is 4mm and it is used for panels up to 2 meters. For larger glass panels we recommend to use 6mm thick glass. The standard panels 4mm & 6mm can be LED lit and fitted into special aluminium profiles if requested.

Tempering

We can use either standard or tempered glass. The tempered glass is more resistant to hits, breaking or hot temperatures. The tempered glass is mainly used in kitchens, especially near and around the oven. Before the glass is tempered, we do all the cutting, grinding edges and holes for switches, sockets, etc.

Transparency

We use discoloured optiwhite type of glass, that enhance the sharpness and colour of our print. The glass is ideally clear and transparent, to give the best effect to the printed graphics.
