The problem with fungus and mould in our country is the nightmare of all the household members and hundreds of euros are spent each year on various chemicals that are supposed to save our homes before they multiply and attack the whole house. We know that it is not only aesthetic problem – the development of fungus and mould in our home is not indifferent to our health – this is extremely big problem for our and our children’s health.. Why glass panels solve this problem?
Glass Panels – No grout, No joins
As all know, with classic tiles you will always get a gap between the tiles (usually 5mm), which is then covered with grout.. If you have ever had tiles you know that most dirt and moult is gathered on the grout, and it is the hardest (almost impossible) place to clean and keep the mould away. With glass panels you won’t have the grout at all as panels are very often for the whole wall size, and it there have to be separate panels (due to different heights), glass panels always touch each other and there is no gap, neither grout needed.
Glass Panels – Easy to clean
To clean the glass panel, simply wipe it with a sponge soaked in a glass cleaner. Or use a standard glass cleaner with a tissue – nothing difficult, at all. Depending on the size it does not take much time, it is neither problematic nor tiring. Regular cleaning of the panels once a week guarantees us cleanliness, lack of stains and no problems with fungus or mould!
Glass Panels – Antimould silicones
As it was already mentioned in the past, not all companies use the antimould silicones, but we would highly recommend them. Special silicones protect our panels against the development of fungus and mould on the edges, saving us the trouble of cleaning them and the cost of buying cleaning products. We recommend it because it is worth it!
How is it with tiles?
Tiles are, unfortunately, a bigger problem, that most of the owners are well aware of. It is necessary to constantly clean joints (not easy at all), uneven surfaces of tiles, edges – in these places fungus and moulds develop extremely easily, so keeping them clean is problematic, expensive and tedious.
Tiles are a traditional choice for bathrooms and kitchens, popular all over the world. Unfortunately, our latitude is much less favourable than in other countries where moisture is not so high. It is not surprising that the growing popularity of glass panels, which are just as aesthetic and durable as tiles, but much less messy and problematic in care. That’s why you should consider the choice!
